The new carrier has received approval from Haiti’s Civil Aviation Authority and the Dominican Republic’s Junta de Aviacion to operate new charter flights between the neighbouring capitals on Hispaniola.

“As the majority of our staff is comprised of Haitians and citizens of the Dominican Republic, all of us at Sunrise Airways are particularly proud to take air service between our neighboring countries to new heights of excellence,” said Philippe Bayard, President of Sunrise Airways. “Our dream of establishing a Port-au-Prince hub to better serve the Western Caribbean becomes more of a reality with this new route to Santo Domingo, serving both business and leisure travelers with superior service and reliability.” via - Santo Domingo Service
