We call on Haitien president Michel Martelly, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe and the Haitian government to bring to justice former dictator Jean-Claude “Baby Doc” Duvalier . Duvalier returned to Haiti in 2011 after living a lavish lifestyle in exile for 29 years with the millions stolen during his years in power. Since his return he has lived with impunity in Port-au-Prince Haiti. He must not be allowed to live freely. His victims, who suffered torture, arbitrary detention, disappearances and summary executions, must have justice. There cannot be the rule of law (Etat de Droit) in Haiti without justice and an end to impunity. Is Haiti open for business but closed to justice? - AVAAZ.ORG.
