So what can be done for those of us who do not have the financial means to contribute in helping our brothers and sisters there in Haiti? As I read through your blogs my heart and prayers goes out to the people. The world needs are so great. Although the news is disheartening thank you for keeping us aware so that we can be mindful of others not just infront of us but also those in country recovering as you say from natural disasters.
Welcome Isthuman,
The answer to your question is not an easy one. Billions of dollars have been poured into rebuilding Haiti and little of it is evident, as we scan the headlines this week. Personally, I don’t foresee any quick remedies for Haiti’s woes; however, it is up to Haitians to move their country forward. As long as the population rely so heavily of the Economic Aid Model, little will change. Thank you for reading and even commenting. It speaks volume about your character. Your unwavering support of Rapadoo O is a great source of motivation.
Thank you!
Yes, Rapadoo…thanks for your reply. It seems based on what you have expressed the greatest need of the Haitian people is not more money but entrepreneur spirit, self-sufficiency, educational enrichment, and educational advancement. May God help the people rise up like a Phoenix from the ashes of adversity.
